How To Scan Augmented Reality Business Card 
  1. Make sure your smarthphone is connected to the internet network.
  2. On the homepage of the Snapcard application, you can simply slide the screen to the right to open the Augmented Reality scanner.
  1. After that wait a few moments until the scanner is ready for use.
  2. After the scanner is ready, point the Smartphone camera towards the card to be scanned.
  3. Wait a few moments until a link, video, or 3D model appears from the name card being scanned.
  4. Tap on the social media button to open the social media profile page from the card being scanned.

How to Create Simple Video

Hey there! Welcome to the tutorial on how to create a nice, simple and creative for your Augmented Reality Video on SnapCard!

You might be thinking, “Gee. That must be difficult and take a long time.”. NOT AT ALL. If you have 10-15 minutes today, that will be enough to create a nice, simple and creative video. Here, we will show you how simple and snappy it is to create a quick slideshow video and show it to all your friends through Augmented Reality.   We’ve made this as simple as following a cookbook so that anyone (both young, old and in the middle) is able to do this. So here is the recipe for creating your very first Augmented Reality Video!

1. Mix and Craft One Slideshow Video

This is where you get to get your hands down and dirty to create something magical! All that needs to be done is:

  1. Open up iMovie (or any other video editing tool)

  2. Select some snazzy pictures that you want in your video

    Here’s a video to show you how to do just that:
  3. Now Add some sound to spice up your video

    Here are some links to where you can get some Royalty Free Sounds or Music: + If you are looking for a different sound, just type up “Royalty Free Music” on google and I’m sure you’ll be able to find something cool!
  4. Save that Video!

    IMPORTANT! Make sure your video is under 5MB
  Phew! You just completed the hardest part of this recipe, the rest will now be a breeze and you’ll be done before you say “supercalifragilisticexpialodocious”!  

3. Load that Video to SnapCard

Great Job! You’re nearly done!! In iMovie, put your video to it’s most compact size when you share it by selecting the:
  • Resolution to its lowest form
  • Quality to Low
  • Compress to Faster
You can do this on Mac by selecting File -> Share -> File… Then select the settings when this tab pops up.   Just upload your video into the SnapCard app and you’re done!

3. Show Others Your Awesomeness!!!

Congratulations! You’ve just completed a video that you can show to all your friends through the magic of Augmented Reality!! Welcome and Congratulations on downloading SnapCard! You’re one step closer on harnessing the power of Augmented Reality…

We’ve compiled three simple steps that will help you get started with SnapCard. Here are the first steps to start on your fun AR Journey!

1. Swipe Right and Scan an AR Code

Your start to experiencing Augmented Reality is only one swipe away! Start using AR technology right away by simply:
  • Opening up the SnapCard app
  • Swiping Right and…
  • Scanning a QR Code
It’s as easy as that!  

2. Create Your Account for FREE

Like what you see? Why don’t you try it yourself! All you need to do is create an account and…. voila! You now own your very own AR code. To create an account:
  1. Open up the SnapCard app
  2. Select the ‘My Card’ tab (it should lead you to the screen below)
  3. Select the button ‘Sign up now, it’s free’ underneath the text “Don’t Have Account?”
  4. Enter in your details and set up your account
  5. After that is done, select ‘Sign Up’ and you’re done!!

3. Share Share Share!

Now that you have your own account, it’s time to show the world! Your My Card is where you can find your personal AR Code and your contact details.
